I am Ing. Lukáš Kouřil, Ph.D., with my registered office at náměstí Míru 112, 768 24 Hulín, Czech Republic, Company ID (IČ): 08479399 (hereinafter the “Controller”, “I”).
To provide my services and operate this website, I process certain personal data.
The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (“GDPR”).

Processing of personal data when you use the contact form
If you inquire about my products and services, I will work with the contact details you provide, mainly through the inquiry form. These are: first name, surname and email address, and any other information you share with me.
Why?
So that I can contact you about my services and a possible collaboration.
On what legal basis?
The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – negotiating a contract, i.e. taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
How long will I process your personal data?
If we do not enter into further collaboration, I will process your data for no longer than 6 months from our last communication.
Processing of personal data when you book a meeting
If you book a meeting through the Calendly booking service, I will work with the details you enter there: name, email address and, where applicable, a note.
Why?
So that I can hold the meeting with you and discuss a possible collaboration.
On what legal basis?
The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – negotiating a contract, i.e. taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
How long will I process your personal data?
If we do not enter into further collaboration, for no longer than 6 months from our last communication.
Processing of personal data when you order services (start a collaboration)
If you order services from me (we start a collaboration), I will work with the details you provide. These are mainly billing details: first name, surname, address, and any other information you share with me.
Why?
I need to process your personal data in order to deliver my services to you. I will also use your contact details to communicate with you.
I will further process your personal data to comply with obligations arising from the law (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or others).
On what legal basis do I process your personal data?
The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract, and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation.
How long will I process your personal data?
For the duration of the service and then for 6 months after the service was last provided. Data on accounting and tax documents (e.g. invoices) are kept for the period required by the Czech Accounting Act and VAT Act, for no longer than 10 years.
Who Has Access to the Data?
Your data stays with me. However, other companies may also have access to it because they keep the website running or are involved in delivering the services you ordered. These are:
- the web hosting provider (Blueboard.cz Webhosting s.r.o., Kováků 3280/5, 150 00 Praha 5, Czech Republic, Company ID: 05448565, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 263786),
- the email service provider (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland – Microsoft 365),
- Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (Google Analytics – only with your consent – and reCAPTCHA),
- Calendly LLC, USA (meeting booking, if you book a meeting through Calendly).
I process personal data primarily within the European Union. Microsoft, Google and Calendly services may transfer data to the USA. Such transfers take place in accordance with Chapter V GDPR, in particular on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Cookies are text files containing a small amount of information that are downloaded to your device when you visit this website. On each subsequent visit, the cookies are sent back to the website, or to another website that recognises them.

Cookies used:
- Google Analytics (cookies “_ga” and “_ga_…”), retention period up to 2 years, managed by Google Ireland Limited. The cookies are used to store and count page views and other data about interaction with the website for statistical purposes. Google Cookie Policy.
- Google reCAPTCHA cookies, retention period 6 months, managed by Google Ireland Limited. I use reCAPTCHA to protect the website forms against spam and abuse by automated bots - to do so, it evaluates visitor behaviour and sends device and usage data (including your IP address) to Google. This is a strictly necessary security function that loads even without consent on the basis of a legitimate interest in securing the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your Rights in Connection with the Processing of Personal Data
Among other things, the GDPR gives you the right to contact me and ask what personal data of yours I process, to request access to that data and have it updated or corrected, or to request restriction of processing. You may request a copy of the personal data processed, request erasure of personal data in certain situations, and in certain cases you have the right to data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.
If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (the Czech supervisory authority), or to bring your claims before a court.
This policy is effective from October 7, 2026.
